Where does this come from? This list is taken straight from Elfia’s programme API and reproduced unedited — names, descriptions and grouping are exactly as the organisers supply them. Elfia does not display this data anywhere on their own site, so there is no official page to check it against. It may be incomplete or out of date and can still change before the event. This is not an official Elfia publication.

Allergens

What to do on site if you have an allergy or an intolerance.

Ask at the stall

In the EU, anyone selling non-prepacked food has to be able to tell you which of the fourteen legal allergens a dish contains — verbally is fine, as long as the stall makes clear you can ask (NVWA). Ask per dish rather than per stall: the same cook often fries several things in the same oil.

Cross-contamination

Food trucks work in a small space with shared fryers, griddles and tongs. “Gluten free” or “vegan” on this list describes the recipe, not a separate preparation area. With a serious allergy that is the difference that matters — say how serious it is.

Bringing your own food is allowed for this

Your own food and drink are normally not permitted, but for medical or dietary reasons — allergies, diabetes and the like — you may bring what you strictly need. Bring a doctor's note; without proof it can still be refused. See the visitor policy.

The fourteen legal allergens
  1. Cereals containing gluten (wheat, rye, barley, oats, spelt, kamut)
  2. Crustaceans
  3. Eggs
  4. Fish
  5. Peanuts
  6. Soybeans
  7. Milk (including lactose)
  8. Nuts (almond, hazelnut, walnut, cashew, pecan, Brazil nut, pistachio, macadamia)
  9. Celery
  10. Mustard
  11. Sesame seeds
  12. Sulphur dioxide and sulphites (above 10 mg/kg or mg/l)
  13. Lupin
  14. Molluscs

These fourteen are listed in Annex II of EU Regulation 1169/2011 and apply to non-prepacked food at events in the Netherlands too. The list and its order were checked against the Dutch food authority, NVWA (4 September 2026), which is also the body that enforces it.

Alcohol is not served to visitors under 18. See the visitor policy.
